Sometimes I catch myself thinking about my various qualities and character traits and wishing they were different. Things that, even with effort and improvement, I figure will always be a part of who I am.
No one is immune to this thinking, but as I tell my high-school Sunday School students, God doesn't need you to be another Moses or Peter or Ruth or Mary. God has blessed us all with unique talents and personalities. Figuring out how we can bring glory to him by being ourselves is an act of praise. Thankfully, God is a master at using even our weaknesses for his benefit.
