Heart-In-Hand by Mary J. DuVal: Giving Thanks

Some days, you just need a little extra inspiration! - I have found that in addition to prayer and reading my Bible, the written words of others journeying through this life have so often given me that extra boost I needed. In 8th grade, a friend presented me with a blank journal as a birthday gift. From that point on, I started writing down every inspirational quote that I found, along with favorite scriptures, photos and drawings. Many times, it feels like God puts these treasures into my hands...and I say, "Thank you, Lord. I needed that!" Could it be that someone else might need it too? This blog gives me the opportunity to pass along some of that inspiration to others. If any of what I offer here gives your heart a hug or a tug and spreads God's love to you, His child, then I feel richly and humbly blessed to have been any tiny part of that.
